The cvolution pan-bar zoom is small and versatile motor controller.  This smart control unit offers the same ergonomic and functional control layout as the cvolution zoom, but is equipped with a ‘built-in’ czoom-clamp allowing the zoom unit to be mounted on any 15mm – 32mm rod, ideal for pan-bars and gimbals.

The built-in LBUS connector not only provides connection to any cvolution camin, but also direct connection with cmotion’s cforce motor to create a unique and streamlined stand alone motor control solution.The pan-bar zoom is compatible with cforce motors, cvolution camin 3M, ARRI Alexa Plus, Alexa Mini, UMC-4, AMC-1, SMC-1 and EMC-1.

The cdistance is a super bright, seven-segment display, which provides a clean and bright visualization of the range finder‘s values. It can be used in bright daylight as well as in darker environments.

If working with common range finders, such as cmotion‘s cfinder III, ARRI‘s UDM, Cinetape or Ward‘s Sniper, the cdistance can be connected directly to the cvolution hand unit, the cvolution camin or ARRI‘s UMC-4.

The sleekest setup can be achieved by using the cdistance directly with the cfinder III. Alternatively, if you are using an Alexa mini with an LCUBE CUB-1, ARRI‘s miniature signal converter, you can also use the UDM or Cinetape in a cforce daisy-chain setup.

Of­fering basic and advanced configurations, cvolution can control up to 5 axis through a single hand unit or share wireless motor control between 4 separate operators. The cvolution camin range can recognise and control most popular digital servo motors in the market, while the ‘white RF’ hand unit can also communicate directly with ARRI Alexa Plus cameras. For distance measurement you can use our high performance laser cfinder. Of course the cvolution system is also compatible with other distance measurement tools, such as ARRI`s UDM, cinetape or the MK3 Wards Sniper of Focus Technologies LLC.
